An independent occult reference library. No gurus, no fear-mongering, no product push.

Le Grand Grimoire is an editorial library covering the symbols, history, and practices of the esoteric traditions — tarot, astrology, witchcraft, mythology, alchemy, and more. We write for people who want to understand these traditions seriously: where ideas come from, how they changed, and what practitioners actually do.

We do not sell courses, promise supernatural results, or turn belief into a shopping category. When a page discusses tools or books, it is because the topic genuinely calls for them — and any commercial links are always disclosed (see the affiliate disclosure).

Editorial principles

• History before hype. Claims are traceable to traditions, texts, or scholarship.
• Practice, not prescription. We describe how traditions work; we do not tell you what to believe.
• No shame, no scares. Occult content too often sells fear. We do not.
• Editorial independence. Affiliate links never dictate topics or conclusions.
